Eighteen area high schools braved the cold at Buck Hill to compete in the 2019 Alpine Invitational. While JV and Varsity racers sped down the hill, parents (and this photographer) struggled to keep feeling in their fingers and toes! Congratulations to the Palmquist siblings who swept the overall medals for both boys and girls and the podium teams of Eagan/Eastview, Hastings, Apple Valley Rosemount for the girls and Eagan/Eastview, St. Thomas Academy and Orono for the boys.
